The aim of the Friends of St. Peter's, Meavy, is to promote wide interest in the care and preservation of the church, its history and its work, to provide a focus of support for it and to support the Parochial Church Council (PCC) in maintaining the fabric and furnishings of the building.
Many people, apart from its regular congregation, have an attachment to St. Peter's Church. Some can attend services only occasionally; others were baptised or married here; others are visitors or local residents who simply have an affection for the church which has been here for hundreds of years.
